Kevin Crosby, MEd

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Crosby Counseling Associates

I have over ten years’ experience counseling and helping children, adolescents and adults in a community mental health setting.  I earned my Masters of Educational Counseling and Psychology from the University of Missouri, where I gained valuable experience in career counseling and substance use counseling. I am the owner of Crosby Counseling Associates LLC.  During the last ten years, I have had the privilege to serve clients with significant anxiety and depression symptoms, as well as issues dealing with psychosis. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness and integrate various approaches to best meet each individual. I have experience working with Men’s issues.  I also have been trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) which promotes a healthy parent child relationship.

Life can sometimes seem overwhelming. At other times, it may just be full of discontent. No matter if it is filled with past trauma to overcome or just uncertainty of the unknown future, as an experienced person-centered therapist I can help work with you to seek answers, overcome obstacles, and attain your goals. As social beings, I believe that all our relationships influence who we are and who we are to become. That is why I will focus on building a dynamic therapeutic relationship from the start.

I look forward to being a resource in your journey to achieve an abundant life.  I am available to work with children ages 6 and older, teens, and adults. I can provide individual, couples, and group therapy.  Please email me at kevin@crosbycounselingassociates.com or call 573-818-7010 and press 4 to leave me a message if you have any questions,  would like a free telephone consultation, or to schedule a session.  I am currently in network with United/Optum.
