Kevin earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Stephens College after earning a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from William Woods University. He has more than seven years of counseling experience across a variety of settings including School Counselor for Columbia Public Schools, Clinical Coordinator for Nonprofit Organization, and Therapist in a Residential Setting.
Kevin serves children and adolescents (elementary to high school age) in the following areas:

Kevin uses a blend of Trauma-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT and TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Reality Based, Mindfulness/Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation with children and adolescents. He explores and helps educate how the mind, spirit, and body are interconnected. Kevin believes that we are free to experience change when we have hope. With joy and compassion, Kevin helps instill hope by teaching skills to learn new thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes.
Kevin offers individual counseling sessions for $115/hour. He also offers family therapy, groups for youth affected by trauma, LGBTQ groups for youth and parents, and parenting groups for adoptive/foster parents.
