Laura offers hope to trauma survivors, informed by her 30+ years of experience and her deep belief that healing is possible. She uses evidence based clinical practices including Deep Brain Reorienting, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego States Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Laura has expertise in diagnosing and treating dissociative conditions. She received her Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992.

Laura’s practice focuses on women’s issues, healing from childhood adversity, and integrating faith and mental health. She welcomes former clients to reconnect and she enjoys supporting other clinicians with either case consultation or therapy of their own. Laura works with ages 18 and up, either In-Person or Telehealth sessions.

Columbia Psychology Healing Center provides a positive place for association of independent mental health and spiritual care providers who are dedicated to healing the mind, soul, and spirit of people in Columbia, Missouri and the region through evidence-based practices, professional excellence, and encouragement. Columbia Psychology Healing Center also helps bring clean water to those in need around the world.

We are providers with interdenominational faith backgrounds who work together ecumenically in a spirit of unity and respect toward our shared goal to love God, love others, and serve all (Matthew 22:36-40) in the healing process. Clients may select to integrate spirituality or faith, a component of holistic care, in services, support, and therapy given by providers with diverse professional and personal faith backgrounds.
