Patti earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling. Prior to her counseling education, Patti spent 8 years managing the youth ministry in her local church and providing lay counseling to adolescents and their families. She has experience in both school and community settings helping adolescents and adults to improve focus on tasks, time management, behavior choices, and improve family function. She especially enjoys helping trauma survivors, and helping those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

She believes in helping people heal from the inside out by finding balance in their emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual areas of life. She works from a systems approach to explore how a person’s past and present environment is affecting current life functioning. Other approaches integrated into therapy include DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), and Mindfulness practices to help bring awareness to distorted thoughts and body sensations.
Patti works with teens and adults ages 15 and up, and she offers individual counseling sessions for $100/hour; sliding scale rates are available.
