Quaye earned her Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked as an Advocate Supervisor at a non-profit organization that worked with children and families in the child welfare system. She has helped individuals who have experienced trauma such as neglect, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, substance abuse, domestic violence and mental illness.
She has also worked as a therapist in a residential facility setting and worked with children of all ages who came from a variety of backgrounds and struggles. She concentrates on helping children, teens and adults in the following areas:
- Anger Management
- Anxiety and Depression
- Family Therapy
- Conduct and Oppositional Defiant Disorder
- Relationship Issues
Quaye utilizes Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) methods while also incorporating Mindfulness and utilizing a strength-based approach. She views her role as helping you to develop and enhance different techniques and coping skills in order for you to achieve your goals.
